Finally managed to get the 999 out this weekend. Lots of work done (still more to do of course) and waiting for DVLA, but we'll worth it, just a short ride, still waiting for new tyres but couldn't miss an early Sunday am empty road opportunity.

Interestingly, my 2006 999 biposto is black, thought they were common, are they not? I'll be selling mine as I also have a red one and Ducatis are red in my book, god knows why I bought a black one
Lovely bike! Looks amazing in black. Just sold my black 06 999 as I have two 999R's and couldn't justify keeping a third one but I'm already starting to miss that black beauty.

In fairness I grilled him about it. I used to have a 999s and wondered if it was going to come up for sale. Lovely looking bike, great in that colour too.
