There is a casual meet up of Ducati forum members for anybody within evening riding distance of The Bradford Arms, Wheaton Aston, Staffs. ST19 9QT. on Monday 16th August. This was originally put forward on another thread and so far there are a handful of folks off here coming and everybody welcome to come along. There is usually a meet there and we are just tagging on so if you roll up and decide its not for you nobody will really notice you sloping off. Apparently it usually starts around 6 pm and most people are away by 8.30 pm to get home, get the curtains drawn and pop the big light on. We are aiming to be there about 7 pm and will have to think of a way to make ourselves known to each other, suggestions on a postcard.

The Watchmender just cried off as well. And it's just started raining here, I think we're doomed tonight chaps! How about putting back to the 23rd?
Watchmender stopped clock. I’ll let others decide on how they feel I’ll pop up any way on my KTM 790 but then I’m only 5 minutes away or 10 at the recommended speed limit.
Just been out for a 50 mile blast along some of my cycling routes and managed to dodge the rain. I’ll still be heading over to tonights meet and happy to do next weeks too, need to get my mileage up for the first service.
I’ll see you there, I’m deffo going no matter the weather, Black KTM 790 with Orange front end, Dainese jacket with Orange arm detailing no Rose in lapel.
I don't think that I am meant to come tonight. I took the dust cover off to be greeted with a flat back tyre on the multi. Found the culprit and thankfully in the middle of the tyre. I'm reluctant to come over on the 998 in the rain so sorry chaps, see you next week if the planets align better than they have tonight.
I think I'm jinxed. I decided at 6.30 tonight to nip up to see what the bike night in Woore is like, only 10 minutes up the road so I thought I would give the 998 a quick run. It was running like a dream last week on a 60 mile round trip to CMC in Cannock but its developed a misfire just sitting in the garage and refuses to run over about 4000 revs. I got about a mile up the road before turning round and coming home for a good cry.
I remembered that I had fitted a new rubber thingy that holds 3 solenoids under the battery box. A quick fiddle with the wiring behind the solenoids and it revs and ticks over OK now. Out for the rest of the day but I will sort it properly tomorrow.
Monday 23rd is looking dry and bright for the Bradford Arms, will you have a bike roadworthy @Lazzzydog ?
