Does amyone know if a main dealer would be able to check a bikes service history for you? If you had the reg? Obviously only dealership services. I'm interested in a bike but it has no history at 10k miles. If I could verify its history I'd have no issues. Thank you.
I'd a few issues in recent times phoning around the local dealers for information on a motorcycle and got nowhere fast as the chap never serviced it with any of them, obviously data protection's inplace these days but with the correct details i don't see why not.

Ducati service records are not held centrally, only by the servicing dealership. If you know who was most likely to have done the service, the dealership should tell you if it was serviced and what was done. Andy
Thank you. I'll be steering clear then. There's a black 1199 for sale on ebay, which I really like but the dealer said it had 10k miles with no service history at all. If it was a simple case of checking then I'd be happy to do some due diligence. But there's plenty alternatives for the same money. Thank you for the input. Obliged.
