Hi mine weird works great and when I take a phone call and end the call go back to main menu and it’s blank asking me to reconnect phone and that means I have to stop the bike, turn off and back on and connect really painful, all it takes is an software update
So we all agree the Ducati connect if flawed each of us have the same issues some more than others.but why haven't Ducati admitted there's a problem. And either sorted out or reimbursed all of us who wasted money on tech that is simply not fit for purpose.
'not fit for purpose' is a good phrase to use when you send the email to your dealer and Ducati HQ. I'd be asking for some sort of compensation as you've paid a lot for what seems like utter crap.
Whilst it's disappointing it doesn't work as well as it should, I don't buy a bike for its phone connectivity.
In the beginning (Jan 2021) I was able tp copy itf files to my phone which showed as routes but after updates that was no longer possible furthermore the bluetooth connection with my Samsung phone is sometimes gone why not use a more idiot proof nav system?
Agree, just use Apple CarPlay or android equivalent and allow the phone to mirror to the screen. Then you could use whichever app you wanted
Neither did I. I bought it because it was way better than my 1260 multistrada. But I expect everything to work as advertised.
