We're off to the park. Its 2mins up road. She can run around there for a few hours whilst wifey and I recover from the day before. Then its a drive by drop off back to her mum. Who has a hangover. Muahahah. May give her a can of red bull before I drop her off.
Done a few chores : sex with the Mrs, cut the grass etc. Watched some of the Le mans 24HR car race. Just had a ham and cheese toasties for lunch. Cleaned my leathers after a quick blast out last night. Off to the local country park with the dogs for a walk then probably catch up with some of the BSB on TV.
Painted an outside wall bright Orange (not my idea) now that SWMBO is having second thoughts, suspect my calendar will soon be full for next weekend to paint it white again
Enjoying a large JD and Coke in the roof top bar of the Hotel Calderon in Barcelona with my bestie. It's been 15 months coming and it is not a disappointment Andy
A day of trail riding in Wales great fun on KTM 450’s great weather and scenery with this company. https://trailridinguk.com/
Very productive day today for once. Cleared loads of shit out a couple of rooms ready for an impending house move hopefully next month, then a quick hoover and tidy up. Then a few little errands and pick up some fuel for a trackday at Cadwell tomorrow. Got home and loaded the van up for the early start. Then went out for a few miles on the pushbike which I’m trying to do most days. Finally a chilled evening and early to bed.
£200 Included was a bed for Saturday night, English fried breakfast, hire of the KTM and fuel and TRUK opening the gates with a little advice thrown in on occasion. You can also use their protective clothing should you not have certain items.
Picked up a Kawasaki Versys 1000 for touring fully kitted. 2014, 11200miles, never ridden in the winter, looks and rides like new.
First thing this morning I made a few phone calls trying to try and find a front tyre for the Scrambler. Best I could come up with was 30th September, which isn’t good as I’m supposed to be doing a long weekend in Wales at the beginning of September, and I don’t think the front tyre will last the weekend. I then went climbing from 11am to 2.30pm with some friends. Which was nice When I got back home I started calling more Pirelli stockists around South Yorkshire and Lancashire and I think I’ve finally found a front tyre and can have it fitted in Sheffield tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed.
