Haven't done it yet, getting long test drives is proving difficult...got until 14th July before I can get the C220 and Evoque
New Lexus IS 300h on order. Launch day July 14th with the first test drives. My order arrives July 12th so if all goes well I can have it 15th or 16th. This will be my 4th Lexus so I am very comfortable with the brand and the dealership. If fact I do not think any manufacturer beats their service.
All my co-directors run expensive motors, last time I ran a Coooper S, this time I took an A3 Sportback black edition and saved the cash, dont really care what the neighbours think!
Unless I got a Lamborghini, I don't think our neighbours would notice if I changed my car. And if I did get a Lambo, they might notice but they wouldn't give a stuff. Now, if I bought a top of the range tractor, that might loosen some tongues in the local café.
Or a buffalo. Reckon a buffalo would go down well, great big thing with massive horns and shaggy collar.
Not wrong here, my gs300 is steadily coming up to 162k miles, and still moves briskly occifer!! when I bought it I looked at merc and bmws but neither came remotely close in terms of equipment as standard. Lexus had everything except sat nav as standard! dealers have been good whilst I used them, indie now though.
I can see that making some people jealous. One guy's still got one of those blue Ford tractors from about 1970. You used to be able to get a Britain's model of that when I was a kid.
Despite all the advice I have ordered a Beamer 1 series. I have picked the motorway tailgate lock with auto flashing lights option....
