It's taken me 6 months and close on £15k since buying the bike. Many one off pieces. Titanium & stainless throughout; carbon all over. 170kgs & 210bhp.
As long as you like it. Who cares. Way too much bolt on anodised stuff for me. As you asked opinions. And 210hp from an 1199? What dyno was that on
Also I though the idea of the gold heat reflective tape was the gold reflects the heat? Does it make any difference that way round on those hot pipes? Surprised it stays on
An absolute joke of a dyno I think! Unless there's a World Superbike engine lobbed in there on the sly
My personal view is it's not for me, way too much anodised stuff, mismatched pretty hard on the eyes, are you American by any chance? Also 210bhp is really REALLY high from that motor assuming it's stock, so I'm interested to know what was done internally to achieve this.
its a little confusing as it seems to be a parts bin special.. basic wheels, ohlins forks, 1199r swingarm pivot and engine /footrest plates, standard rear shock.. the front mudguard seems to have the cut outs for the suspension potentiometer ?
I quite like it probably looks better in the flesh Cleaning will be fun Ride it like you stole it and enjoy
It's definitely an acquired taste. As long as you like it that is all that matters. Enjoy it and have some fun.
