Combination of a few things this week. Two days riding through wales, got some bits for the 749s, carbon nose cone and steering dampener mount. And went to the Japanese themed night at caffeine and machine.
No idea if there is a real time connection between the UK passenger information form and any of the information it contains. Would the test lab be legally bound to report a positive result ? Andy
After six weeks parked up, the weather was fantastic today so i'd the SL out around the Kent lanes etc.
Decided to avoid the roads and train and go to the Bournemouth air festival on our little rib (30 miles ish - 25 litres of petrol ) Can't fault a Yamaha 50HP 2-stroke!
I had a good ride out straight after fitting. About 120 miles and can confirm I do feel less wind on my head and chest above 70. I’m noticing more wind on my legs coming off the wings however. Perhaps the wind was there before but more noticeable now because my top half is better protected. I’m pretty happy though as the bike feels comfier at motorway plus speeds. I personally think the Ducati screen is in keeping with the lines of the bike as well. Some of the aftermarket ones look a bit naff. I probably prefer it without the screen but sometimes function over form prevails
Good to know. Can you stick some pics up of the bike from further away with the screen, when you get a chance?
Fun, cos it's so small so 30 knots feels really exciting! Also so old you don't worry if it gets the odd scratch from the beach!
