30Knots is pretty fast in a boat. These boats allegedly had 500hp and did 60kts+ in Mex. FUN!

Replaced static and adj pulley bearings. Fitted new exact cam belts. Fitted new plugs. The oil and filter are about 20m old, so leaving it. Fitted new exact starter cables. Put headlight back on. Next job is the deep clean. Cant say I'm eager to do it as my knees and back betray my ageing physique. Thus Im chilling now watching racing. I'll clean later.

A massive 7 hour ride through Wales, A494 shut so had to re-route to Bala which was annoying.

Bridgenorth Italian car meet, then onto quatford for lunch. Saw a 1199 SL in the wild and a very oddball Rsv 1000. Also fitted new tyres and dropped my bars abit in the monster.

 

All those little bits with funny colours and shapes! Too much for me. When its done, put all the bits less 5 into the box and take to the charity shop.

 

Try a bottle of Rattler cider.

 

Oh I ain’t really a cider drinker, but hey when in Rome!

 

Overtook a small convoy of FIAT Arbarths seemed they were headed to Bridgo early doors, one was a very bright Kawasaki Green. I was headed to the Long Mynd and beyond.
