Just wondering if anyone has used these guys on here before www.Bike-parts-Ducati.com? It states on there site that they are IN MOTO Ducati located in the United Kingdom. They have some pretty good prices for OEM products. Example, Im looking at the Clutch basket for the V4R and its a 100 dollars cheaper than the part in the USA with shipping.
Yes I’ve used them. Part of a dealership based somewhere like Croydon. Communications not always been great but they’ve never let me down.
I too have used them on a couple of occasions. Mainly because they were showing stock of parts nobody else had. Delivery took a little longer than I thought it would, but only by days not weeks. Nasher.
The previous forum thread below contains information about the company referred to: https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/www-bike-parts-ducati-com-fraud-or-a-real-website.84082/ . The company T&C's give more information. Hope it helps. Tom.
Great, thanks for the replies guys really appreciate it... Being in the USA i'm not to worried about shipping times I figure it will be a few weeks, but the prices are great. Thanks again...
Hello. I'm not sure if you are aware that there might be UK VAT charged on a purchase made here, and then import charges when the goods arrive in the USA. You could ask them not to charge the VAT for goods to be exported to the USA? https://wise.com/us/import-duty/from-uk . https://www.simplyduty.com/import-calculator/ . These links may help. I'm in the process of buying Ducati parts from Italy (EU) for export to UK, the VAT and customs duty are complex and significant, so beware. Good luck. Tom.
Ive also had success for cheaper parts via these lot. Again with a Pani Clutch cover. https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/en
Good for you! Bloody UK government charged me £200 on a pair of used Ohlins forks imported from the States that someone had already paid their taxes on! Good job they were worth it.
