Just waiting for my mate to pick me up, who's being deliberately late. I guess to teach me a lesson as I won't tell him what bike I have purchased... Anyway, wish me luck and if I manage an event free ride home I'll see fellow Northerners and anyone else for that matter at Squires tomorrow. Can't get used to calling it that. It was always the "bar" in my day... Oh, and this accessories catalogue isn't going to do my wallet or relationship with the wife any favours either. I think they do it deliberately.
Yeah, it happened thankfully. Had to wait for a really nice guy to go through his handover of his Panigale R. It got such an audience as well and was quite an event. Never seen such a buzz around a bike before. Anyway, not so much of a crowd round my handover, think it was zero but hey I can live with that. Tony at Sheffield Ducati was great, in fact all the team there were. A very pleasant experience. Managed to get over 200 miles in this weekend and a couple of schoolboy errors, like leaving the side stand down when trying to set off and wondering why the engine cut out! Ah well ya live and learn.
Thanks all. Having not ridden a bike for such a long time it's like learning all over again. They say once you've learnt to ride a bike you never forget. Well I did.
Not kidding. Me too. Was going out for a blast tonight but alas, I needed to fit the tank pad. Wise Words. Well taking it easy tonight so might as well read the manual.
