Hi . Is 18 grand good price for this bike ? Bike has had two owners I’ll be third. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-P...p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
The owner has got V4R as well for the track and told me he used this bike for one track day just to compare . Mainly used on the road .
Looks a fair price considering the extras on it. I’d be happy with that. Mine had less goodies but just a full Termi exhaust and went for £19k with 2500 miles.
The owner told me that he bought of his friend . He owns the bike since 2019 . He is selling because he bought v4sp .
Think about it this way. You could buy a used one for 16k then spend another 10k to bring to this spec...or you can return to stock and recover at least 4k is selling all the "bling" parts.
The main thing to look out for if your road riding is….. Fast approaching Blue lights definitely way too much for a road bike if your not experienced in the art of travelling at light speed and your not on your A game. Truly spectacular when all the dots align! It’s still very compliant and comfortable as a road bike! Just absolutely Bonkers, especially in the wrong hands. And even more bonkers in the right hands. Prepare to recalibrate your brain or it will get fried Apart from that….. No real issues apart from suffering from Quickshifter Blipper problems, Oh and a very healthy appetite for tyres! Be warned
Yes, when parking up if you test ride it, very attractive women will want to get to know you and potentially have sex with you, just to get close to your bike. Be strong, and don’t let them use your body for horrendously perverted acts of pleasure......
IME, the Rizoma rear sets are form over function and the Rizoma fuel cap is an absolute PITA. I went for Spider WSBK rear sets but there are others equally as good and much better than the Rizoma. Andy
Well he said that sound is different, but didn’t go in to much details about handing and over all performance
If you didn't experience the difference then the R wasn't set up correctly or it wasn't pushed to the limit where its noticed. I am talking track use.
Thats a nice bike but its an 18 model from the advert?, there is a quite an improvement in handling etc with the 20/21 bikes. It all depends on what you want out of it as its still an amazing bike to ride. Also a good lesson that bling adds very little value but it makes it a great buy if you were planning on these upgrades.
