Let us know what the conditions are like up there because I'll be doing it in 2 weeks time for the Stella Alpina. I've got next weekend to sort everything out and I'm giving serious consideration to packing my heated jacket because the conditions on a lot of the high passes look a bit grim right now
Will do. I'm back on the 8th unless I find somewhere to log on whilst away. I've packed my heated jacket...for July!!!
Andy no need for heated jacket at all even though some of the higher trails like sommelier and parpilion are still closed with snow at around 8000 ft. They are working hard to clear Somellier in time for the Stella. Weather is great. Even the one overcast day was warm. Forecast has threatened rain but never seen it. Hope it's clear so you can get to the top, we didn't due to snow and having to tow my mates dead ktm
I'll tell my wife that she doesnt need me to fit a connector for her heated jacket onto her Triumph because she'll not be needing it but I might still pack mine just in case it gets a bit cold and I can wind her up by stopping to put it on
I'm getting worried because if Antonye liked that last post of mine he's almost certainly going to be grassing me up to my wife. I see the future holding electrical work for me over the weekend.
Imagine what she's likely to do if she gets to the top of a pass in the Alps and finds snow then spots me plugging in a lead from my jacket to the bike
