Stanley looking bald. Like his mam, can’t get in a poodle parlour for love or money so I did it meself.
Stanley’s on holiday. It was a bit hot so I dug in to the cold pebbles and he jumped in. Loved it. He’s a bit of a nob though tbh. A funny nob.
Watching Clarkson’s Farm and another farm type documentary- £16k for a well bred collie pup??? Wtf!!!
I am sure they will provide more warmth and love than a motorbike at half the cost.... If your breeding them - then sell 2 and you can get a V4R But that is a lot of dosh...
Yeah. Some ISDS (Working Collies) go for silly money. As you say, would need to be something VERY special for that £16k price tag. Especially as still only a puppy. The very best UKKC registered ('pedigree') Border Collies are £1200 to £1500.
That’s what I paid for Iggy my working cocker, who came with KC 5 generation certification on both sides showing multiple field trial champions. Unfortunately, he’s hard-headed and difficult to train, possibly because he seemed to be the alpha of the litter, so I’m glad I bought him as a pet rather than a working dog I took him clay pigeon shooting with me last week and he was ok with the noise but he’s so hyperactive around other dogs that I don’t think he’ll ever make a gun dog.
This GSD was bought into the country a while back, from Germany. Rumor has it he was over £100k. My bitch is in season now, I may use him on her.
Bulldogs go for £2000 - £4000 normally - but you do see some of those - with Tri Colour and good lines sell for 45 to 50K The breeder where we had our bully from 6 years ago - was using a Stud that was 4K a stud fee - with her 15K bitch - both tri colour... and she was expecting to get between 5 and 10k for the pups.... There can be big money in the dog world...
