Saw these at Bury Hill today. Very pretty, covered in carbon, sparkly clean. Ridden by a father and son but patently fairly sedately...
Went to Shere Hill Climb today. Fantastic day and always good to see this little Beauty out and about
Thanks for sharing these, but's that another ex-forum administrator in the rear seat, top photograph.
Fantastic pictures Chris, I feel as though i went after that! looks like Nick Butler's "T" bucket and two rare Lancias although i hear it on good authority that both 2CVs toasted at least one of the Fulvias..
The D-Type 774RW is the ex Mike Hawthorn 1955 Le Mans winner. That was the year they had the horrific crash and over 80 spectators killed when a Mercedes got launched on the pit straight.
message to all:- best get out there on a bike tomorrow - an 80% chance it will be as good as today (apologies to any non-retired persons reading this).
Yes i have seen that horrific footage many times before now, and not a good day for the champagne spraying.Longterm good for safety in F! based on what happened that day.
That was a lucky tip off from a mate at short notice, I meant to put it on here but only just got there myself. I will have a look but if you put in words along the lines of “motorcar show 12 September “for example or what’s on et cetera I think that will probably do it. https://www.google.co.uk/search?client=safari&channel=iphone_bm&q=Classic+Car+shows+for+2021&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjn5dDpufvyAhWQiVwKHb0sCzsQ1QJ6BAgiEAE&biw=320&bih=529#fpstate=tlexp&htiq=Classic Car shows for 2021 https://carfestivalbooking.com/region/surrey loadsa shows.. https://www.google.co.uk/search?cli...zMDAzMzEzODQ=&htivrt=events&mid=/g/11rsc428x_
