Hey Adam Just wondering, do you enjoy riding the gixxer more than the old 600? Is it actually much quicker lap times wise?
I am poor at the moment. buying a new van, bike, house and Aston in the space of 8 months will do that to you I guess :/
Hey @Advikaz You have heard from me before under another ID. For some reason "Carl" was banned but I have no idea why. Anyway, I have a 2020 Gix and took your suggestion of the Lextek system added to the Sprint Bloody Expensive filter and Venturi velocity stacks. Recently had the bike on the dyno for a Woolich tune. As usual I have a question - I take it that you have a C/F tank extender - how do you find this compared to the stock shape? Cheers.
I saw a couple of zero miles pre reg 2020 GSX-R's for £13.5k otr delivered recently. If they'd been that price a couple of months ago, I'd probably have bought one instead of my 1299. If they drop much further I may buy one as well.
Hey bud, I have yet to ride with the tank extender so it wouldn’t be fair to make the assumption. The tank extender will be coupled with clip ons (set wider). The aim of the game is to give me better anchorage and make me feel more at home. The stock clip ons are far too narrow for my liking and I struggle to grip the stock tank/move forward too much for my liking. those dyno figures look good and fair. Have you ridden it yet?
No, we are just coming out of winter down here in West Oz - hoping for a dry day this Sunday down at Collie Motoplex (a hidden gem of a track) - also trying out a base setting so will be a busy day if the rain stays away
I was on the GSXR Forum introducing myself. Some nice chap said I should join Grinder, which I immediately did. Bit of an eye opener.
