Agree I think some drivers have been used to empty roads for a long time and have forgotten how to share them I have read the local paper today and a few accidents in there resulting in death and life threatening conditions One person over taking two small lorries in the dark had a head on with a car coming the other way I was coming home the other day from physio through one of our local “lane” and lorry in front of me a bend and the young lad behind me overtook us both with a van coming the other way, crazy!!! I backed off to give room for a collision without involving me
No doubt too many distractions in the cockpit with moblie phones and other devices aswell and probably poor teaching standards from day one.
Me too, that's why i'm still here typing away, but only just by the skin of my teeth. Watching the new generation riders out there today's frightening what they get up too like not carry out life savers when over taking etc, etc.
A pleasant 100 odd miles out this morning in my new Alpinestars tech touring suit, feels OK, certainly different to a leather one piece suit. The 765rs really is a wonderful thing to ride, but I suppose aren't they all. Couple of odd jobs done to keep the peace, bit of left over Chinese for lunch whilst watching the Moto GP. My dad and the in laws over tonight for a roast dinner. Feeling happy.
Been to Banbury and surrounding villages for a mooch ending up in a lovely pub in Kings Sutton for a wonderful three course boozy lunch Tomorrow we’re going to Oxford and a look round the Bodleian Old Library
Raining. Having a clear out. I have 22 pairs of jeans! 35 pairs of shoes. 60 plus shirts. 5 suits. 3 sets of leathers, 5 pairs of bike boots, 8 jackets so far, 1 pair of under pants spare. Madness who needs spare under pants? Flea bay time. What’s the going rate on undies?
Managed to actually get out on the 600ss - almost started and then battery gave up. Half an hour later all good!
