Looking for opinions on rearsets chaps.. always been a fan of Gilles.... But I've heard on a 1098 they ant the best, ill fitment etc thoughts?
Lightech - top notch quality and easily obtainable spares if you go down the track or road at any point.
Must admit I do like the lightech stuff, only pisser is you need a brake switch banjo.... But then again I guess most rearsets you'd have to do the same
r&g, pain in the ass as the brake pedal is connected to the peg. move the pegs, and the brake pedal is nowhere near where it needs to be. gilles, apparently flexible in vcr guise, but i only have experience with the older gt type. spares availability is good, but some prefer the older style pegs too, from an aesthetic and grip point of view. hacket, really nice quality, but very pricey considering they are just farmed out. how about hunting down some ex haga(metal tech)/checa rearsets(cnc racing)?
Hmm, slight hijack here kinda....I just grabbed some Rizoma RRC rearsets but I see not one mention of rizoma :/ Are they tosh?
Nothing Rizoma makes is tosh. Its expensive and some of it is unnecessary, but rear sets dont fall into that category
That's good to hear! Read a couple of reviews that said they were good and remember them having a good name....but I was looking through the list people were posting and no mention. Guess I'll find out for sure when I get them on
