So, bike(Scrambler 800 Classic 2015) was fitted with the GT's, when I looked to replace I see: Pirelli Angel ST Pirelli Angel GT Pirelli Angel GT II I went with what is fitted the Angel GT's, Is one better than the other? I'm not bothered about mileage, only cover about 4k a year. Would a different brand be better next time? Cheers, SP.

Cheers for that, it seems that the ST's are for smaller bike and the GT II's don't come in my size. A far cry from the limited choice of the old square death plastic tyres of old. SP.

I'm using Angel GT on the Monster, plenty of grip and no dramas. Previously had the Diablo Rosso but they wore out too quickly (despite lasting much better on the 916?), as far as I'm concerned the Angels work just as well but last better so on that basis I'd recommend them.
Fitted a set of andel gt2’s to my multi. Wanted to replace with standard Angel GT’s but could not get them locally at the time. Used them at Thruxton skills days and they offer very good grip and show very little wear given the stick they were given. Came away thinking they were “harder” than the Angel GT which is still my preference but I will not be changing them early.
I fitted Angel GTs to my '97 Supersport. I have had more track day type tyres in the past and they are useless for real world road work - the rear squares off far too quickly - and harder ones can be a bit too slippery. I tend to ride fairly sedately or very hard, with no in-between. Reading the sales blurb suggested the GTs might suit that riding style as the rears are hard in the centre but soft at the sides with no intermediate section. I have heard that if you do a lot of twisty roads at speed it can wear out the sides a bit too quickly though. They are the only tyre I have ever fitted to any motorcycle in 35 years that felt good straight away without needing to wear them in a bit. Only done about 1,000 miles on them so far though.
