  2. By all means, just message if ****my**** was out of order. It would be a first on here.
A big difference between grown up talk, between forum members and abusive language or swearing at anyone.

  3. Theres a diesel refueling depot for commercial users I pass often not far from where I live, its part of a massive network all over the country. Card holders only can use it, the trucks and vans will keep running.

  4. Many large haulage etc companies have their own on site fuel at distribution centres too.

I can imagine a few on here wringing hands and pulling their plonkers at he thought of U.K. PLC having problems over the winter :splat:

  5. Looks like we’re bringing in the army to sort it out then lads; except far as I understand it, most military HGV drivers are reservists. Guess what they do as a day job?

  8. I am so impressed with the thinking behind waiting in a long queue for fuel with your engine running.

  9. I tend to think that the government etc are deliberately distracting us whilst they’re up to no good elsewhere.

I’m convinced this is a manufactured situation. As said, like most are.

Over the last few years all I’ve seen is the populous turning on each other, really the focus of that energy should be on the shit bags in ‘power’. Not each other.

Ultimately this was a press release that caused this and what on Earth did they think would happen. Ofcourse it was going to cause a stampede effect.

  10. It's the social media ripple effect too.......

"Esso in so and so street in so and so have got some" - cue hundreds of twunts queuing for hours with running engines, clogging up the fckn streets.

We are, generally, a nation of morons.

  11. It is the way Britain has always done it and there are wars still going on all over the world because of it. How did 1000 civil servants control India?

Like you, I wish people would wake up and turn their hatred on those that truly deserve it.

  12. 100% on your first line, but i'd watch GBNews at 7pm yesterday and they did interview a couple of haulage firms that are responsible for fuel deliveries, they said if people keep panic buying the problem'll continue. Also the DVLA needs a boot up the backside for delays in processing HGV licences.

Me i'm not a fool, so i'll take it with a pinch of salt what comes out of their mouths.

  13. If you panic buy and fill your tank, don't you have to panic drive to empty it, so you can panic buy some more ?

I love humans, dumbest creatures on the planet.....

  16. Some of the theories are hilarious as well.

People will believe anything and question nothing.

  17. When I quit smoking I rode past McDonalds - one dual carriageway away - and felt nauseated by the smell.

  18. Don't get me wrong, as i do like the odd burger & fries from there on the odd occasion.

  19. I was at a wedding recently and one of the best man's jokes was how Love Island is actually a documentary series on the failures of the British education system, I found it funny at least. All this trouble caused unnecessarily by thoughtless and selfish behaviour by the masses, spurred on by printed and social media.
