Multi 2011 recalls

  1. Hi all, Pick up my 2011 Multi on the 6th July, it's going in for 24month service and back brake recall before i pick it up.

I want to make sure the garage (Woods Abergele) do all outstanding recalls while it is with them as it's now out of warranty.

The ones i know of through research are:

    Back brake recall
    Steering lock recall
    Coolant fluid recall

Any more that i have missed?

Thanks for all your help :)

  2. check the state of wear on the heated grips.
Also check the left side engine case, and water pump cover, both for signs of early corrosion.

  3. Not easy to spot right away but keep an eye on the dash getting misty eyed on the inside!!! Mine did when we had cold wet weather. Fine now, now that we have warm wet weather

  4. Cheers guys, had the misty eye on my 1100S so will keep an eye, pardon the pun, on that and the corrosion and grip wear

  5. Rear brake mod is not a recall...

  6. Fork knocking/clunking sound/feel is another one, not a recall but a known issue

  7. Ducati not so big on the term "recall". They post "issue" bulletins and you have to ask for it. Crafty.

  8. No, not crafty, standard practice in the motor trade, recalls are for safety related items only.
