Felt a bit shit again today so I stayed in to watch more of The Wire. I’m now on series 3 and episode 6. As an aside why did no one tell me that Grandad from Only Fools and Horses was one of the main characters in series two?
Bike meet Hoare park. Bacon butty and coffee. Three Vincent’s, loads of old British stuff. Tridents, BSA, triumph all sorts. 70s 2 strokes. Harleys, mix of modern couple of hundred bikes. Only Ducati there! Nice to be different.
In Mojaca Playa so seemed churlish not to return to a very pleasant restaurant we've been to before. Amazing tapas and Estrella Levante, what's not to enjoy ? Andy
Klauss Mouse and his mate Travelling Ted have been travelling with us for 18 years and are more often recognised at places we re visit than we are. Used a hostelry in Barcelona in August that we hadn't been to for about 5 years and the Manager recognised 'the boys' immediately. They got us a free desert Andy
First thing I went for my monthly sports/injury massage and afterwards I called in to my old office to see my old colleagues and have a coffee. When asked if I regretted retiring my answer was “do I fuck regret it”
Bros wedding the other day, followed by the London Marathon, which the bastard doesn’t even train for. He’s coming out of the military soon, total of 13 years, 8 years SF. Still makes me laugh that we are related. We joke as I had the Rugby gene and he had the long distance running gene.
