  1. If its anything like the Bimota YB10 i owned years ago where you had to drop the engine to get the spark plugs out ,they look beautiful but are totally non user friendly , and mine was like riding an ironing board!...the one pictured (SB8) has a Suzuki TL1000 motor so might be a bit more accessible...still a nice looking bike.:upyeah:

  2. Next time i've some Stella Artois in the fridge, i'll road test the ironing board just for the hell of it.

  3. I know them pretty well.....did a few thousand miles alongside one in the 80's whilst on a Darmah. Since most models get fatter with age & he says 20kg lighter than an early one....... (& pillion footrests on it too.....)

  4. Perhaps he's a fat bastard and referring to his own bodyweight, or just got his numbers mixed up.

  8. Not sure what one your on about, but certainly 20% tax would be added on importing it to the Uk.

  9. A few years ago I had to sell a Z1000H that I'd owned for 27yrs, it almost broke my heart.
But I used part of the proceeds to buy my first Ducati, and it's all got a bit out of hand since.

Since selling it I've sold a couple of things I've realised I was getting too attached to in a similar way, just so I don't go through the same heartbreak again.
