Just read this, in fact very sorry to read it. As everyone above has said, keep it going Viv, you have all our best wishes and support.
I'm not going to say sorry because that's a tad depressing and my post isn't going to be depressing. You're a fighter Viv and a thoroughly nice person, you'll kick it's ar*e again, I have every faith in you. We're all here to keep you smiling, we're all full of banter and talk a lot of bollo*ks, so just keep reading our inane drivel and you'll be fine... you're my superwoman!!
Today I’m having a bone marrow biopsy It’s taken from the hip and I will be having gas and air because it’s worse than having a baby but quicker This will give a baseline for how much myeloma is in the bone marrow in the hip area. It can be different percentages in the bones. The pelvis is the biggest area of bone marrow Myeloma cells crowd out all the good cells then take over the bone as it has no food left to eat (easiest way to describe it)
Gas and air is always welcome even if the pregnant wife disapproves (probably why she is an ex wife) Hope all goes well
Sorry to learn of this development. I’ve regularly been struck by your positivity and good humour. Sending you positive thoughts and best wishes. X
Had gas and air once. Really does calm you down, nice. My mate spoilt it by continuing to moan about his broken leg. Not seen him for years soft git
Air is good. Gas I can live without. I'd rather the anesthetist fart in my face than put that rubber mask on me. Probably work for minor procedures, too!
