Hi all, can any kindly answer my question ref if it is OK to use the new E10 petrol in my 2018 V4, I only ask as i often struggle to get E5 at times and now that unleaded has changed to E10 I'm not sure if it is ok to use this type of petrol
If you look on your tank you should see a silver sticker that say E0/E5/E10. That denotes what you can stick in the tank
It would be a good idea though if you are going to leave the bike for any length of time unused , to use a fuel stabiliser to be on the safe side .
Thanks for all the replies that puts my mind at rest. I don't have the original fuel cap to check as when I bought the bike it had a Rizoma bu Ducati fuel cap. Thanks once again for answering my question.
Hello. The links below from other threads on this Forum covering Ethanol in fuel might help. Also, I'm sure a search will find more information. Good luck, Tom. PS. Esso Synergy Supreme Plus may now contain Ethanol up to 5%, depending on where in the UK it is sourced. https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/e10-fuel-from-september.84434/page-4#post-1886190 https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threa...toring-for-several-months.88000/#post-1884297
