So I’ve decided not to go for the xerox race rep 999s as fitting new rear lights and indicators was a hassle I didn’t want so gone for this instead what do you think guys
I'd lose the rim tape, unneccessary stick on tricolore badges, ducati corse sticker from the belt cover, fit a carbon hugger and a plain seat cover and it'd be loads better
You'll always get people saying what they would/wouldn't do on these type of posts. That's not a dig, just how it is, and it proves that 'one man's meat is another man's poison'. If you like it, you like it - full stop.
Well done. My comment would be that it's far better than any of the race rep paint jobs, I don't get the whole 'look at me I'm pretending to be (whoever)' thing. There's a couple of things I'd change if it were mine, nothing major, and just simple personal choice stuff, but that's half the point of buying a bike isn't it? I really hope you enjoy it. Oh, but please do remove the shower mats from the sides of the tank
Quite right I’m new to these and just wanted to know if there was anything glaringly wrong to the eyes
I agree with the majority of those rim tape stickers and hugger seat will be when more money is available
it will be getting toned down rim tape and other bits removed the one piece fairings are throwing me though don’t know what they have come off
I noticed them. Whilst I've been trawling the web doing research for my 999 project I'm sure I've seen some one piece fairing sets on offer for track use without headlight apertures. Perhaps somebody has had an 'off' and just used the side panels with the original nose cone. They look fine in the images.
