Welcome. I was in exactly the same place waiting to pick up my 848 last Friday. Hopefully worth the wait as the forecast is OK today? I smiled all the way home and carried on until my jaw ached - I think my wife thought I'd taken something!
Congratulations on the new bike. I recently become a 1098S owner after almost a year of searching. Wasnt going to settle for anything but one in complete standard form in near perfect condition and eventually found one.
Been out on the bike all afternoon and love it but have potentially a few issues/questions. 1. The bike has full testi system however, I think the ECU has an issue as the DTC option is not on the mode menu? Ducati sale said they would look into but potentially a new one would roughly be £1000? They are going to look into it but will not throw £1000 into the bike. 2. The gold frame has what looks like a little pitting on both sides? It's a 2010 with 4500 miles and is otherwise immaculate. The service dept at sale which seem really good ATM, are goin got see if ducati as a good will gesture would look into this and rectify. other than that I was smiling all afternoon. The feeling of being shot out of a canon is immense..... Haha. Corners like its on rails and knees down already. The bike is booked into the service dept at sale on the 9th July for per sales checks and service, ready for delivery on the 11th, fingers crossed. i am a little unnerved by the 2 comments above and they could potentially cancel this sale if they are not addressed. Am I being unreasonable or over cautious?... cheers Az
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but all i can say is be very wary of buying from them.......I recently bought from them and there are still ongoing issues which still need to be addressed unfortunately I can't divulge the detail as it may yet go legal having not heard anything from them in 4 weeks with regard the promise about what they would do to put the bike right........not the kind of service you'd expect from a dealer.....good luck
Its got every thing you probably will replace. Sometimes you just gotta make them deeper. Sell all the standard bits and you would make the difference back.

Not yet he is up for viewing. On the downside for AZ I have a viewing tomorrow all being well so will see. Still not 100% sure meself if I doing the right thing !

Just been in riders Bristol,they have a nice looking 10 plate 1198s corse special edition up for 10499 I think.looks tidy.
