anyone know what the crack is with the frame on this bike? never seen one with a brace at the top before, just came across it while scanning the bay, looks odd to me.Ducati 999S BIP | eBay
thats been available for a while. it has extra bracing for racing. its obviously from a race bike and looks pretty cool lol
well they are add ons to a S frame i would say as it has too many rear set holes to be a proper RS one....is it from bike enders? any other pictures does the cross brace at the top for the tank unbolt as thats another R feature...

yes added on at a later date albeit welded on to a basic frame i dont believe that frame started out as anything special...
Mmmmmmm, any more info in the bike it came from??? I built a WSB replica in Spring 2003, using a brand new 749s as the donor bike. First job was frame off, additional rails in frame and paint it red. Shame if the bike was scrapped, had full carbon body work, large carbon race tank, fairing moulds taken from factory WSB bike etc etc Will look for some pics of my frame, to compare.
Found my build pic's, and it's not my old frame. Kind of glad, may mean that the old carbon 749 is still out there some where :0) It did crop up on eBay a few times, but, not seen it for a couple of years :0(
