Wow, can’t believe this thread is over 6 years old. I remember posting in it but can’t for the life in me remember where I was working this morning!
Knight and day is the best for me (the directors cut has 10 mins of my Hyper) totally unbelievable stunts but hey im not complaining...i was watching the making of it and a couple of scenes they cladded up SXV550's to look the same...
If you like Hypers, have you seen Yes Man? Shame they dubbed most of it an inline4, but that clip still makes me want to get a hyper!
Have you seen the collection in Ryan Reynold’s ‘Free Guy’? https://productplacementblog.com/movies/ducati-motorcycles-in-free-guy-2021/
I remember as a teenager in the '70s getting excited when a character turned up on a Triumph twin. Unfortunately the moment the action began it magically turned into a Japanese 2-stroke trials bike. Except in Clint Eastwood films.
I remember a “specialist” film I saw in France once that featured a 748/9*6 at Val de Vienne circuit (near Poitiers)…it featured a bit of track action around the circuit and then, when the bike returned to the pits, it revealed a lady rider..who, on her return to the garage she was greeted by a hunky “mechanic”… You can imagine the rest.
nope - not helping me "imagine" for a second there Richard, I think you ought to elaborate more in the newly appointed "18 + Cert/Adults Only" sub-forum.
I think it was actually a technical illustration of the principles of the four stroke Otto Cycle. There was definitely evidence of suck - squeeze - bank - blow…
