Replaced a 5’ fluorescent fitting with a all new LED version in the bike garage Total blingage! Also ordered an Arlo security camera with lights to protect the other garages.
I stuck my head above the parapet and was pinned down by this lot, a clients new loft ladder installed today.
Nah, green is for garden and kitchen food waste only! Grey is general and brown is for booze, i mean empty bottles and tins etc. Rules eh!
Don't be daft.....brown is garden waste. And you have to pay extra for that. So next doors gets ours or we sneak it into the general (grey) bin.
You pay extra on top of your council tax contributions for household rubbish removal! Wow! The councils have got it stitched up, they’re definitely doing a number on us.
Seems my (or someone else’s) feedback has had an effect. Road crew returned yesterday and today to do the job properly. Still a total waste of time and money as I predict the surface will last less than a month before it lifts and behaves like a loose top dressing. Andy
Bins bins bins, grey for general, blue for recycle, over the fence for everything else. Bins can be bought with special wheels that go up and down steps with ease. No week is complete without a bin being emptied. Help!
Me...i've just been anchoring down some bikes that i'd moved the other day into a new location, also had to move the chef's mini out of the garage for her......i did offer her a bag of sand for it but she turned me down flat.
Yesterday I waited in for two hours for DHL to deliver the subframe they failed, for unspecified reasons, to deliver Tuesday - until they messaged me to say they'd tried to deliver but no-one was in. Today I've verified that the door buzzer still works, and rearranged delivery, tomorrow, to the nearest drop-off point, which is a convenience store. Not that it's particularly convenient. And I've overcome the urge to kick things.
