  1. Possibly 2 bikes being launched on 11th.

  2. This is my #1 gripe, and it’s still the same with the red V2.

  3. Streetfighter S suggests it would have Ohlins, like the Supersport S ?

  4. My dealer just emailed me out the blue saying streetfighter SP being announced on 11th and giving me pre warning if I want one. £250 deposit to secure it

so looks like will be 2 models. V2 and the V4 SP

  5. What does everyone think of the new V2 streetfighter?

  6. V2 SF looks good...but I might wait to see if there is an 'S' version with electronic suspension.

  7. I’d be interested to see how much it is too

  8. £14995 basic. All the details including available accessories and configurator are now on the Ducati website.

  9. Thought it would be around that price. It may struggle to sell at that price. Also explains the V2 panigale price rise recently.

  10. V2 looks to be a cracking bike.

  11. I think it will be a great bike for the road and comfortable enough to do some long multi-day rides too. It’s certainly going to be a contender against my current 848SF. Will it have the same issues with high temperatures combined with a roasted backside and a shockingly bad rear shock as per the V2 panigale though?

  12. £15k…. Jeez…. And £7k premium over the s model for the V4SP

  13. Not going to happen apparently, as that’ll put it in the same price as the standard SFV4 non S.

I’m very interested in the V2, as my knackered body can’t handle prolonged silly speeds on the SFV4S, but I like the weight and package of the bike, so this could tick all my boxes.

  14. I'm not surprised of how it looks or what it's tech is, but I am surprised at the price given the standard fully faired panigale.

It is at least £1000 over priced, but I guess that's only £1k

Question is does it have a fuel gauge or will it have a range over 100 Miles o_O

  15. Or the option for factory fit heated grips! There’s about 3 pages dedicated to heated grips in the Panigale V2 manual yet they don’t sell them!

  16. £14995 vs £18895 so there's a bit of room for 'improvements' which would leave the same sort of margin the V2 Multi S has over the non S V4 ;)

  17. Heated grips are an option (see configurator on Ducati.com ). As for range the tech specs are similar to the Pani V2--17litre tank/6.0 Litres per 100Km so 150 miles range to be expected. No evidence of a fuel gauge on the image of the TFT screen though it may not be fully lit up.
Just spoken to my dealer who expects a bike in Jan`22 with full production starting Feb--he`s not expecting his first bikes until April. It seems component shortages are having an effect on production schedules of all Ducatis---bikes my dealer expected to have available Dec/Jan won`t be here until Feb `22.

  18. Is that 150 mile range realistic?

I'd take 120 -130 Miles to be fair, having this 80 mile range stuff is fine for back road blasts but a massive pain in the arse if you're trying to make good progress over to Germany or Spain, too many stops

  19. they are an option on the Streetfighter yes, not on the Panigale V2 configuration.

also most UK press quoting first bikes in dealers December, they will try to avoid jan as then people wait for new reg.

And 150 mile fuel range, no way… I used to get 130miles to a totally dry tank including reserve. But tbh I think that’s plenty for the style of bike.

  20. 130Miles will do ---maybe get a bit more when touring. Got to have a longer range than the V4SF in any case.

I`ve gone ahead and ordered one --it will be in the first batch my dealer receives--told to expect it April`22.
