Have you considered parrying with the “Well, how many saucepans do you need, you’ve got loads” riposte? If that doesn’t work then go for “How many pairs of shoes” etc. Let us know how you get on.
I know some well connected estate agents who could possibly find him some accommodation at short notice!
I find honesty is much better This forum is full of little liars Thankfully bikes would be welcomed here rather than shoes and saucepans
Found this little critter on the garden waste bin so warmed him through and found a better spot for him near the pond.
Shuffled "stuff" in the garage, rearranged the bikes and moved the R6 out of the hall and into the space created and gave the floor a half hearted sweep. That's me done for the day Andy
Lucky you. It’s been lashing down here since 4pm yesterday afternoon and there’s no sign of it stopping any time soon
A steady little walk up to Captain Cooks monument, Kildale NY moors… A dull, cool day but no rain thankfully Roseberry topping in the distance.. On the top, bit of a “lazy wind” going on ( doesn’t go around you, just cuts through you! ) so I didn’t hang around too long on the top. Nice to be outdoors again after a rain sodden weekend stuck in the house
Felt pretty fabulous for a Monday today if truth be told, think it probably has something to do with that big round yellow thing in the sky. Smashed work and even the dogs have had two nice long walks. Time for un (cheeky) stella artois i think.
Found out over the weekend my friends mother has had her leg amputated due to complications with a blood clot behind the knee Then got a call from wife’s family in Ireland, her brother put a chain saw through his foot and has to have surgery Then found out a good friend of mine has contracted a chest infection and been in the intensive care unit for the last six days, they can’t identify the problem, he’s tested negative for Covid. Comes in three apparently.
