  3. Even up on the The Winner Takes It All it's getting to be a helluva job getting down to take the underside fairing screws out! Meanwhile I went to the garage coughing up 'stuff', and for a moment a little later felt like I might collapse.
Didn't take any oil filters with me. Don't know the oil capacity i.e. whether the old will overflow my sump oil bastardizer. Such is The Name of the Game!

  4. Mamma Mia, i don't recall "Like I might collapse" in the Abba repertoire, if you make it tomorrow can you hum it for me? Just A Notion but i reckon you can make it, I Still Have Faith In You.

  5. Found out my friend who has spent the last week on the ICU ward has now been placed in an induced coma and is on a ventilator.

It’s shit or bust from now on in!

  11. Waiting in for utterly useless TNT/Fedex international to deliver my carbon wheel from Germany.
It’s been a total cluster from start to finish.

  12. Never you’re one of life’s high lights. Just carry on making me laugh and I’ll happily do without a card!:D

  13. I have had to retire my 2 seat sofa having come to the conclusion, it is a contributory cause of my upper back/neck issues. Found the receipt from when I bought it and I bought it in 1999. Unsurprising it’s saggy and not very supportive. Spent the last 4 hours tidying the lounge that would have done justice to one of those rooms on telly that take professional cleaners a week to clean :joy: A trip to our local curry house tonight for a meal with friends. Now it’s stopped raining, I’m going to walk so be aware of impending drivel later on, the restaurant serves very chilled Cobra :D Andy

  15. Spanked the gym for the fifth time this week, as well as a 2k swim. I had to repair the damage from the weekend in Devon! Managed to drop a couple of lbs in the process, so my system works!

  18. In my 1st stint as a courier I sub-contacted to TNT. They paid 6 weeks behind. At one point they tried to get me to let them paint my bike in their livery. It wouldn't have meant more jobs, or not waiting 6 weeks to be paid, or not buying my own tyres and chains. The only difference it would have made was that when I did jobs for other companies - as I was expected to do to make a living - it would look like TNT was doing them. And my bike would have looked like I'd just been given the use of it.

If you get that hypersonic missile, I'd like to write something derogatory about them on it!

  20. leafblower.jpg

treated myself to a leafblower and only briefly tested but seems fine. Is it just me or does anyone else with a mechanically-minded mind think of Wallace and Gromit whenever they see above or similar?
