  2. The clutch reservoir was empty! What, did someone steal my fluid??? Topped it up now I can get neutral again. Took the bike to Spa to get a (BMW) oil filter socket (that fits the Hi-Flo HF153). Went the long way.

  3. Saw the Physio this morning and have been referred back to the senior clinician for a steroid injection. Finally convinced him the physio exercises for my ACL are exacerbating the problem with the tear in my anterior meniscus :sob: Went to a COVID booster walk in facility to be told they have been so inundated with walk in requests, they have had to revert to appointment only ........ and they are fully booked until Christmas. So much for the reported poor booster uptake, certainly not where I live. Anyway, ended up getting an appointment for the end of November through my GP surgery. Other than that, a lazy afternoon enjoying retirement :D Andy

  5. You over rate the crap! Stripped out a hand built kitchen to replace with a Modern Kitchen. Chip board MDF shite. Looked good! Almost cried taking out the Old 1970 solid wood carcasses, pencil carpenter marks and cut joints. Solid worktops and superb finished metal work handles. Tried to convince my son that a deep clean up and refresh would scream quality. You want it cheap? You get it cheap. Just don’t use it.

  6. Well in my case it wasn't cheap at £1600 for a very small kitchen that arrived on one wooden pallet, with trade card for just two w/tops and less than four base carcases / fronts handles, 3 x drawer boxes , kickboards etc.

  7. Did that price not include electric oven and gas hob?

  8. Nope, no appliances so not a very good deal, the tradecard's only 10% off the sheep price.

  9. Never mind the sheep price we’ll get to that later!

Wickes do a far better deal.
£1k normally gets me a complete kitchen with appliances.
Although for kick boards I use their white gloss shelving as the price difference is a massive saving.

Busy day for me yesterday, booster jab and as I was in Peasmarsh thought I would take out a Livewire. Then home to fit just arrived rear damper to car for MOT, and nearly finished skip bike number two.
