It’s a tough one! Had my flu jab last Thursday, and normally I feel a bit ropey for a day or so. Wind forward to Sunday and full blown flu arrived. Fever. Chesty cough. Zero energy. Didn’t get out of bed until Tuesday lunchtime. And it’s not going anywhere. Still have hot and cold sweats, this chesty cough is constant so I can’t sleep, seems no end to it right now. Various paracetamol based things have been taken constantly, lozenges for the sore throat and some strong as you can get over the counter cough medicine isn’t shifting it. Genuinely worried I won’t be back to work Monday! So if you’re having the jab and normally have a bit of a reaction, be warned!
Sorry to hear your feeling poorly Bradders There are a lot of virus going around so just beware not to blame the flu jab Lot of upper respiratory infections going through rounds Have you done a PCR test to rule out Covid My daughters GP suggested this when she was diagnosed with tonsillitis once it came back negative She was very poorly and in bed for 10 days There is also a viral tonsillitis doing the rounds. The flu vaccine isn’t live and should just give you a raised temp aches and pain in your arm. I would give your doctors a ring just to be on safe side
I still don’t feel right from my covid jab to be honest. I was one of the first to have it as well (Pfizer). Definitely not having any form of booster. Doctors don’t give a shit Ofcourse because the jab is the answer to every possible issue in existence and couldn’t possibly be a problem
I feel the same as you Advicaz about the booster. I’m not having it and still wonder why my Melanoma cancer flared up again a few weeks after getting my second jab.I am now on immunotherapy after having the lymph glands removed from my groin.
I too believe the vaccinations and altering my Zometa from 4 weeks to 12 weeks has contributed to my relapse of myeloma I know my body well enough for the changes it was experiencing but what do I know It will be interesting to see how many relapses happen over the next 12/24 months
Sorry to hear this mate. Hope it all gets sorted. I was very ill from the first jab. Felt very rough for about 4-5 weeks which is interesting as I’ve had covid twice and have honestly had worse hangovers. The issues started about 48 hours after the jab. Hallucination. Exhausting. Massively fatigued (couldn’t walk up the stairs without panting). Very bad head ache. Couldn’t concentrate on anything. Just utterly fucked. long term issues have been random head aches. Fatigued. Aches in legs and lower body if I don’t stay very active (this is a particular issue as it’s actually painful in the car now). Randomly feeling exhausted. I’ve never had this stuff prior to having that first jab. I never wanted the poxy jab in the first place but was basically forced which is disgusting. I will not have another. No chance.
The symptoms you describe sound like long covid. Maybe you had CV19 (asymptomatic) which has morphed... The vaxx could have simply been administered around the same time? Either way I hope it passes soon. I'm still hopeful to see your team win the 125 Derby series!
Haha, we only did that one race. It was carnage and we utterly buggered the bike. But we did lead for over an hour comfortably There’s been a lot of complaints about how freetech is being run, we’ve kept our distance because of this and just generally being busy. what I will say though, is that we checked out various teams in the top 10 on that particular event and nearly all of them where cheating. Nothing was done about any of it either. Non existent riding standards too.
@Advikaz fuck me mate, what you have discribed is bang on how i feel, i nearly fell asleep at work yesturday which is very odd for me. Ache in shoulders and back , head aches like ive never had before!! like you said not having any more.
A list of some of the reported side effects of the covid jab can be found here: http://www.vigiaccess.org/ Type "COVID-19 vaccine" in the search without the quotes.
Sorry to hear that @bradders. When I had my flu jab about 6 weeks ago I seemed to get a bad head cold within a couple of days. Head felt woolly for about 3 weeks, and I still don’t feel 100% now as my chest feels tight now and again and when it does I feel short of breath. However it doesn’t sound as though it’s as bad as you’re experiencing. Hope you feel better soon
A friend of ours had the jab a few weeks ago, has just been fitted with a pacemaker. We had the virus last November, felt tired for a couple of days that was it, so have not taken the offer of a jab.
