  1. to save me trawling the interweb, where can I get the rubber bungs that go onto the pillion pegs that locate the panniers on a mutley 1200s, are they just Ducati dealership only or has someone contact details that I can use to get them delivered to home? :upyeah::upyeah:

  2. Ducati dealer...I would imagine they'll happily post them out as they're not big or heavy.

  3. Ducati part numbers 86611211A and 86611201A about £3.80 each

  4. And when you get them either araldite them on or remove them every time you take the panniers off otherwise you will almost certainly be ordering more.

  5. thanks all, I normally take them off but forgot, and I think my pillion may have knocked it off John W did warn me Doh!!!

  6.
P&H or Snells will post them out to you no problem.

Imo araldite will not last, as it sets too hard. A bit of spray on contact adhesive is a better choice.
Oh and while your at it, do the rubber on the lifting handle too.

  7. I stuck mine on with superglue when I got them. It bonds the rubber to the metal and they will (hopefully) never come off.

  8. I had the same problem, lost one when we were away in France. I was quite surprised that they were not extortionately priced so bought a replacement for the one I lost as well as a spare set and chucked them in the tool kit under the seat.....Worked out the same price as a decent pot of Glue!!!!:upyeah::upyeah:

  9. Put some silicon spray on the rubbers, helps the panniers go on really easily :upyeah:
