"A politician in the 1920s said, if you give the working classes indoor baths, they’ll just use them to store coal in." But then were would I keep me pushbike?
Today I are been mostly missing my covid booster shot. Harrumph. And got a pair of air filters to put off sodding about with oven cleaner for maybe a year. Walking back from the closed vaccination joint I thought "Bollocks!" - in fact, I said it. What I thought was "I should go get the bike out". But, it's a bit parky! Also I opened a planning proposal letter from the buggers at Town Hall while half asleep and got a paper cut not only where gripping a guitar neck would be uncomfortable, but where leaning on Ducati clip-ons would be really painful. Maybe I should have posted to 'First World Problems', or got more exercised and posted to Chris' new ranting thread.
you're not alone WTL.. it's just people mainly read and move on. I just paid a bill that had been hanging for over 2 weeks, not due to me I should add, a rare thing today when people aren't in a hurry for your (almost) 3k.
just had a Tesco "Carrot and Coriander" soup in a tin - felt sorry for it, no-one else would've eaten it and was destined only to gather cobwebs until "Eat by:-" date approached. EDIT Also a very lucky escape from a radius/ulna fracture as tripped up just now after the excitement of discovering a rat's nest. It was the sort of full-fat fall where you can't do anything to slow the descent, and i was mainly headed for flat concrete slabs. The lucky bit was a robust flower pot so ended up with an elbow inflammation which is nothing in comparison.
Nah……went to the Christmas market there. Bought some incredibly expensive chilli flavoured olive oil and some balsamic vinegar which must be infused with the soul of kittens and puppies given it’s price. And that was on top of a £10 parking fee too. Remind me never to go again
Went to two music shops in town and played many acoustic guitars, so many in fact I’m now completely confused. Back to the simple world of the internet search!

This is interesting.. have you opened one and seen this with your own eyes Andy? - only being Devil's Advocate here because I agree that I would think that the chances of the can contents resembling what is on that spoon would be pretty remote. I just had a search and these are extremely popular to the extent that they are displayed as Sold Out on the Heinz website, and may be limited to 4 cans per order when back in stock. Shows there's a market here but as said, what you order and what you get.. Almost tempted to try one just to see for myself. Also had a brief look at current Trade Description Act website which seems a little sleepy of late.
Have read a couple of reviews which had side by side photos of the Heinz advert and what actually comes out of the tin. I have to say, having lived on tinned food during an earlier period of my life (compo rations) my experience of tinned food is that it is very rarely that brightly coloured nor are the edges of the individual ingredients that sharply defined.
