More used sets about and at reasonable prices. I’m a bit of a pikey and love a bit of gold. Likely cartridge will be way I’ll go but seeing what other options there are
If for track use you would still probably need the forks reworking and bling is pointless on a trackbike, but you already know this.
I ride my trackbikes as standard now until I find a problem then spend the money to fix the problem. I have noticed on here that people are spending money to 'fix' problems, they haven't yet come across, on someone else's say so.
Everything you read is how poor the standard forks are. Especially on track. Thinking aloud about options really.
Personally I'd get it set up by Colin and ride it and if you find a problem then get it booked in at MCT.
I've read how poor this that and the other is on the gsxr but I've only changed the M/C, fluid and brake pads and nothing else is holding me back at my pace.
