It's holding up quite well so far Fbb. Always give her a wash down after a run and dry with a micro fibre cloth. I also use a supposed protectant for the matt finish. Fingerprints show easily but are easily wiped off and be careful when re fuelling because the fuel spatter will mark the tank. I'm very careful when I refill. Have only done a couple of thousand K's so far though ,so will have to wait and see what she looks like at 10 thou. As far as stone chips go, stay in front!!!
Hey phoenix, the product is called Shining Monkey 360. There blurb says that it's made for matt paint & vinyl wrap finishes, cleans and protects surfaces with no wax/ no silicone. No streaking or darkening of the surface. Not sure if it would be available your side of the world, I enquired about it in our local auto shop and they ordered it in for me, saying it was one of the only products on the market for matt surfaces. The Dark is the 1st matt finish that I've owned and the last thing I wanted to do was polish the bloody thing and end up with shiny spots all over it.
Tried to source this product for matt finish paint, but no joy.any body know what polish/protector is suitable for matt paintwork.thanks.
Here's another product if you have plenty of money. Haven't used it myself but have heard it's the ducs nuts. Swissvax Opaque Wax - Matt Paint 250ml
