Bit of a change of direction for a Bond film, especially in soppy department! But like you say, a good one.

Wife dragged me along to watch it when I was home last week. She’d already seen it and told me how great it was. I thought it was shite. Worst Bond film I’d ever seen. I think Bond films have slowly been moulded towards the American audience. Car chases, big explosions and loads of automatic gunfire. Yawn. And in this one there was all that soppy shite. Double yawn. And Wokeness. Triple yawn.
I'd agree, I enjoyed the film, but they've been too generic for too long now. Maybe time to end it. Guess while there's still £££ to me made, they'll carry on.
We all gravitate towards things or people that we like in life, i'm not defending him but i'd rather have him in my front room than say Jonathan Ross or Gary Lineker.
The Punisher. Season 2. The Wheel of Time. Ace, even if it's a bit woke and not as accurate as the books (which make Game of Thrones look like a Fisher Price series). Richard Osman's House of Games. The Hit List. Good music quiz even if the presenters are crap (they are slowly getting better, though).
Whilst I have to agree with your sentiment here you have to stand up for yourself, never allow yourself to be dragged anywhere, especially by the missus, it’s just plain wrong!
