I hope you don't do this again! A new leccy chainsaw with safety brake etc is £50. Your legs must be worth that?
Reminds me of chopping up scrap cars with an axe and the time I misjudged and cut one boot top leather neatly between big toe and next toe on a downward strike. Thought nothing of it at the time as stupid and invincible when young, me anyway.
Another one of my father's power tools (bit of a theme going) was a 12" grinder with no guard and a toggle on off switch. I was cutting up my X-JS and unplugged the grinder to change the disc. Plugged it back in again to find the toggle switch was on.... Grinder ran along the floor then up my leg eventually burying itself in my knee cap. Still got the groove in the bone, drove to the hospital with a rigger boot full of blood, Aussie doctor that worked me up was most amused especially when he pulled off the towel I had wrapped round my leg and found I had cut an artery. He stuck his finger in it to stop the bleeding then sewed it up without anesthetic. My dad couldn't see what the problem was with the grinder (or the chainsaw)
So far today I’ve had to deal with about 15 spambots from Russia and the USA. On average we are now getting 25-30 each day, which is a royal pain in the arse!
I’m off climbing in a bit, and it isn’t my usual day so I’ll probably have to use the auto belay if I can’t buddy up with anyone. This evening we are having a curry with Slow Dave and his missus.
I feel like the queen this morning as I’m doing mostly light desk duties on account of my bad back. Going for a certified PCR test later prior to flying to Ireland tomorrow Got my cholesterol results back from the doctors, seems I have more work to do!
Sorry to hear A, i'm surprised you have any cholesterol concerns going by your weight but I know it can be deceptive. Apparently I am ok at the mo but they didn't give me a number which is a bit irritating as I can relate better to this.
Plumber is coming next Tuesday to install a new domestic boiler after I finally got round to sourcing a replacement for the current one that leaks from a knackered diverter valve and a blocked pressure relief valve. It’s 15 years old so a replacement makes more sense than a repair and of course, I won’t be able to buy a new gas boiler very soon. Being a slob and living on my own, I now have 5 days to ‘find’ the kitchen so he can access where the boiler hangs on the kitchen wall Andy
