trackday front mudguard

  1. now I hear you fella,and I like your way of thinkin ??? but some garages at some circuits people get twitchy with some one havin a fag,let alone hot naked flame alongside fuel,it would be like a scene outa back to the future !!!!! lol looks like its a cut n plate n poprivet job then ?? thanks all for help-incidently is ghost that fast then ???, cos he's not exactly young is he ?? just a bit touched is it ??

    PS............there is another way of getting more clearance on the mudguard if you want to try it.....doesn't involve making plates up etc.........you need a heat gun / blowlamp and some bits of wood and something you can clamp across the full width of the mudguard tightly..........

  7. And I know loads who are slower than me but have cabinets full of trophies...and even more who are big fish in small ponds and have loads of trophies

    But end of the day, when stories are told and grandkids impressed, theres nothing like a bunch of silverware :upyeah:

I was lucky I guess....got rid of my novice jacket in something like 6 meetings, which mean that I was a fully fledged passenger; but one day I had to drive it...............and had to wear a novice jacket.................after two races they told me to chuck the jacket and I was also a driver / rider..........perhaps they recognised talent when they saw it..........F knows why nobody else does.
