I've got a gen 2. Do you have to knock off TC every single time you fire it up? I keep forgetting and when I go to hoik it up, a wanky little spluttering minger is all I get. There should just be a simple 'showy off bastard' mode in the menu that stays put when you select it....
Couple of stealers were selling the full system for £1500 new a few months ago, should have nabbed one but they're all gone now. Had mine in for it's 12 month service a week ago and they have a 30% sale on currently, asked them about an akra and they couldn't get near what I had seen elsewhere, however they did say that some dealers weren't aware of the indicator issue and had stock of systems that they needed shut of thus the discount.
If you have the track pack it should retain the settings. The stupid nanny stuff won't let you keep the anti wheelie off in any other mode on the Gen 2 but in track mode you can turn that off and leave traction control/slip on and it will stay that way. It's essential to enjoy the bike as wheelies are a large part of every spin
Anybody know what the bloody price of the Evo is going to be? Why the secret i dont know, asked a few dealers and none able to supply any pricing on a bike that got unveiled a couple of weeks ago, whats the point in that
Mine seems to think around £17.5 to £18K, I guess it could be the £/Euro, Brexit etc Saw a few pics from the bike show, didn't like the matt blue with the gloss black on the Evo TBH.
Id go silver anyway i reckon, i want a gloss lacquer on my paintwork, matt is all very well but a shit to keep looking good long term
