V4 V4s 2020 - 21

Can anyone tell me what the actual changes were from the 2020 to 2021 bike? I originally thought there was none but I have came across a few reviews which state upgrades to the electronic package, but nothing that is solid concrete and other reviews have contradicted this.

I downloaded the manuals for both years and can see that they added an extra rider mode for the 2021 bike, and with parameter section at the bottom right of the dash has different parameters on display in the sense of only the ones that can be adjusted on the fly, whereas the 2020 bike had them all available to see when scrolling but you could only adjust 4 of them, they obviously felt this was pointless and for the 2021 bike removed the ones that couldn’t be adjusted on the fly and only had the ones that could be on display.

But I came across this



So was there actual difference made to the electronics with regards to how it worked in relation to traction control etc? I can’t find anything online and when you type “V4s 2021 review” very little comes up and nothing really states what the changes were.

 

That is the 2020 review, so the changes they are talking about is from the 2019 to 2020 bike.

I’m asking about 2020 to 21.

I’m actually saying that originally l thought it was a case of 2018-19 then updates for the 2020 then 2021 was the same and now the updates for the 2022.

but I’ve found some reviews etc that style there were changes for the 2021 so I’m asking if anyone knows what the actual changes were with regards to the electronics which you can clearly see stated in that picture I posted in my first post.

 

absolutely spot on, that’s exactly what I’m after. So there’s actually a substantial change over the 2020 bike albeit what you can’t actually see. Thanks for that.
