  3. Right. Now it says spoiler….. to be leading by 11.5 secs with 5 laps to go and the 2nd place being a second a lap quicker for a driver then to stick it in the wall on the racing line onto a straight is tough luck….to have the race director say no one can pass under yellows (which was communicated to Hamilton) to then, after red bull complain on the radio and no doubt protest to the sweaters (stewards) reverse that decsion and allow SOME to overtake that means verstappen can catch up under safety car (which he couldn’t otherwise) a couple of laps later and enable him to be right behind as they release for one lap smacks a bit of fix tbh. Other than it being great to have a Brit world champion I don’t care who won. But this wasn’t an exciting last lap: it was a manufactured outc)me by the organisers. IMO.

  4. Tuff titty. LH sent MV into the tyre wall at 180mph at Silverstone. VB rammed him off track in Hungary. His tyre burst just before the finish line in Baku. So there’s 75 points he lost due to bad luck. Some days your luck is shite, some days it isn’t.

  5. Yeah but that was rigged for all the world to see, not a great advertisement for F!.....

  6. Shiiiiite  What about LH leaving the track to gain advantage on the 1st lap? Didn’t have to give the place back like they normally have to. Too much boo hooing, Max is champ, get over it… :D

  7. I’d agree with you but if previous similar situations have resulted in the race ending under safety car and then for this race the rules are changed then the inconsistency irks me somewhat? Make a rule and stand by it, don’t change it through pier pressure or for some season ending excitement?

  8. What was rigged??

  9. Your a MadMax fan which's fair enough, so we could be here for sometime until the cows come home arguing the points.:worried:

  10. Sounds like the Mercedes lawyers have been shown the door…. Go on, fuck off!!

Good news. Would have been tragic if the slimey bastards had got their way :D

  12. I think it’s fair to say that F1 has been as dull as dishwater for 10 years. Mercedes have won the constructors title for 8 straight years.
Max has injected some excitement thank God. Yes, he’s a bit of a mad bastard but I like mad bastards. They’re amusing and interesting. That’s why I like Marc Marquez too….

  13. . Only saw last 8 laps…but give a lace back then immediately overtake again isnt 11 seconds ;)

Yes. They need someone else to win.

Honestly if it was just the safety car, that’s racing. The other stuff tho….

  14. I've dipped in and out over the years as Michael Schumacher turned me off many years ago, with Lewis turning me on again, but i do agree with you as Max has excitement running through his veins like Toprak in WSB............but we do need a level playing field on those Rules.

  15. Its all well and good arguing about who/how it was won but lets think of the losers in this race. Has anyone seen any of the Sky F1 fanboys, especially Ted Kravitz, the poor man must be unconsolable after watching such a travesty of justice.

  16. All lapped cars should’ve been let past or none at all, not just the few in between LH and MM. In hindsight maybe Merc should’ve pitted for new tyres? I don’t like how Merc are trying to alter the result now, just take it on the chin, after all they won the constructors. But.... Masi did say he didn’t want the result decided by him or the stewards, which is exactly what he did, he chose entertainment over the correct ruling.
LH and Max are way ahead of the rest of the pack, have been at pretty much every race. I’m hoping Maclaren give Lando a good car and Merc give GR and fair chance too.
    Just my Tupence worth

  17. I'm not that bothered now who won TBH, but it does stink how contrived and bent the last lap was. Could anyone imagine Ferrari getting the same shafting.
