Hi to all of you from Sweden I have been riding sport motorcycles since 1991 but never a Ducati. Although being a massive fan of icons like the 916 I have always found them to be too unreliable. I have raced since 1993 and since about 10 years I have given up on street riding completely. Now I have really found a big interest in actually buying my first Ducati. The V4 seems like a great bike and since I do not race the national SBK championship anymore the 1100cc engine is not a problem. It would be great with a V4R but the price tag is.... Not really attractive even for a 2018. Please forgive me if I ask many stupid things but I am here to learn. Ducati is a different thing from the Japanese bikes and the R1 I currently race. Cheers /Christian
Welcome to the forum Christian. There is plenty of knowledge about the Panigale V4 on here and most will give you a sensible answer to your questions Andy
Welcome. There are a couple of build threads for v4 track bikes on here worth looking for and there’s always @Mary Hinge and his cobbled together thing
Welcome Chris, as hinted, I've got the coolest v4s on earth. In fact the coolest everything come to think of it
Cool, unfortunately I'm away working a lot these days. Currently about 4500 miles south And where do you work?
Christ, I used to work for an engineering firm there! When I lived in Mirfield. And it's not really so nice here. It's the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
There are a few in that region. The company I work for is Flexitallic. Oh.. Well, Nigeria is... not that nice in most parts...
