@Paul55 how you find the rs to the r mate?

 

Totally different bike, especially engine output, nothing below 8k, then bang, it all arrives and goes on to 12k.

On the R I use 9.5 springs, had to go to 10s on the RS as everything is faster, later and harder.

This was the first outing @ Doni, taking it easy as it had not turned a wheel in 15 years....



Two tracks so far on it I have done PBs at Doni & Cartagena, beating previous times on 899 & 848.

She’s back together again after engine rebuild!
Had her on the scales last weekend, 179kg with about a third of a tank of fuel.
Break in and then final tuning on the dyno by late April, fingers crossed
