  1. 2 years ago the symptoms I have would have been called the “common cold” :rolleyes:

    ps Here’s an interesting stat from my younger brother this morning who works for Northumbria healthcare. Northumbria Healthcare takes in 11 sites stretching from Newcastle to Berwick and as of this morning the comms that they get from those sites reported there was 35 covid patients in hospital across all 11 sites. Northumbria Healthcare do not understand this current response by the government.

  2. They don’t understand it in the North West. Similar numbers and 80% not previously vaccinated. Daughter just finished 12 hours on. Back tonight.

  9. Well SWMBO has now tested positive for cv19 and so I’ve now booked a PCR drive in test for us both this morning :rolleyes:

    And because she’s classed as clinically vulnerable if it’s confirmed then she gets special attention and treatment from the nhs apparently, according to a letter she received from our docs before Christmas.

  11. Yesterday i was treated to a nice turkey evening meal, with sitting in front of the fire place afterwards with some more wine which was great.

  13. Youngest daughters partner has just tested positive for covid and had been sent home from work.
    We were all together on Christmas Day drinking wine singing and being merry!

    Yikes!
