  1. Without derailing this thread too much, a friend works for the NHS and said that they have millions of booster vaccines going out of date in January that they are desperate to use. Make of that what you will.

  2. Our docs had some surplus too back in September and that's why we got our 3rd jab earlier than the government announced, and with the surpluses they have now they are giving clinically vulnerable their 4th jab (SWMBO had her 4th jab two weeks ago)

  3. I wonder if it’s because you’re 3X vacc’d you have, so far, mild symptoms?

Either way hope it stays mild for you.

Going to watch a film tonight of as my daughter calls it a ‘movie’

  4. They’re certainly pushing this one much harder than any of the others. I’ve had over a dozen texts to get me to book mine.

  8. Back in the olden days when I worked :p my USA sales agent, who also works/does special effects in the industry, calls them “motion pictures”. He actually has an Oscar for his work which I think was for Trains, Planes and Automobiles.

  20. Anyone watched ‘Don’t look up’ on Netflix?

Two low-level astronomers must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth.

Daughter wants to watch it, doesn’t get a good write up in the Guardian
