A good turn-out today for the annual Presidents Boxing Day ride here in South Australia. Good ride through the Adelaide Hills with a sunny 23* ending up at a pub for lunch. That Desmosedici is LOUD - made my 1100 HM seem quiet when I was following it!

Yep I am an ex-pat from the UK, Norfolk, so know what you mean! (this is our summer tho, it will be mid/high 30's from Tuesday onwards for a few days)
Well we're at £144 / 150 ish for basic petrol and diesel, and i thought everything in Australia was more expensive than the UK.
I've an old friend that moved out strangely enough to Adelaide ten plus years ago, he said he wished he'd shipped out all of his furniture & belongings as damn expensive.
Very hot unfortunately and fines are relatively high! In fact I'm half expecting one from this outing along with quite a few of the other riders Here there are heaps of mobile cameras and they go to great lengths to hide, there is at least one camera that is hidden inside a wheelie bin and others that have full camo nets over them stashed in the undergrowth beside the road.
